Outside of philosophy, my primary interest is music. In the interim between finishing college and starting graduate school—a period of a few years—I grew out my hair and played guitar in a “psychedelic surf rock” band in Austin, TX.

I also enjoy movies, reading for fun (which usually means working my way very slowly through the St John’s list of great books), hiking, gardening, and studying Greek morphology and syntax in Smyth’s Grammar.

 

GREECE
